I haven't seen anyone point this out, but isn't it interesting that we are in an arc that involves us being introduced to Wukong's puesdo parents/family, right when Xiaotian is having a struggle over whether he has a family?
Like, Subodhi was one of the first father figures Wukong had, he literally gave him his name. He taught him all his powers.
We get introduced to the sworn brothers, who might've taken it in the romantic sense of the term but at the base stage was someone who agreed to fight together with you like they were your sibling.
There is a version of Wukong's birth story that mentions Nuwa possibly making the giant stone he came out of, making her his mother.
Meanwhile, we've known that Qi Xiaotian views Pigsy as his dad, we got confirmation in "Sleep Bug" with Dadsy. It wasn't this season, however, that we both learned that Pigsy literally adopted him but that the father-son relationship was (supposedly) one-sided. Subodhi himself says that Xiaotian was a creature created with no family.

gravity falls au where Gideon manages to get his little hands on Journal 1 as well when I takes the shack, and so with all three journals he manages to complete the portal (he found it accidentally by hitting the vending machine too hard after it wouldn't give him his snacks)

Metadow where Silver's their kid, facilitated by Metal's mucking about with genetic splicing -- since apparently he's interested in biotech, judging by Heroes -- so insert whatever shipping stuff one wants with them during the 200 years or whatever, and eventually someone gets the bright idea for a test tube baby for some reason, and huh weird it came out looking a lot like that one guy they used to know from the future *wait a minute--*
